Promoter's Intentions

I would like to say a few words about Asset Plays, Cash Bargains, and Debt Capacity Bargains. the one thing common to all of these is that the earning or potential earnings from the assets/cash are significant compared to the price. let us say price may be twice or thrice the earnings/potential earnings for an year. the one thing I have learned many times in last 4-5 years and also have observed from other investors' records is that good results came mostly when the promoter's intentions or incentives have matched with the investors. or we have to depend upon outsiders to influence and change the promoter's incentives and intentions.
