Million Dollar Houses

from an article in Financial Express

The US has become a land of million dollar houses and apartments thanks to the gross inflation in the housing market.
The Census Bureau estimates that there are now 1,034,386 one million-plus homes. In the capital area, even three bedroom apartments cost that much if they are near a subway.
Earlier, a $1 million home used to be a rare, grand mansion in the hills or on the water, The Washington Times noted.
Today a $1 million price tag dangles from a three-bedroom Bethesda (a Washington suburb) home close to the metro and in a good school district, it said. "But the bathrooms still sport early 1990s decor."

Looks like a German Hyperinflation scenario is not ruled out if people forget about it.
