Beating the Average

Can we beat the average by staying with the majority and doing what most people do? Most of us should ask that question to ourselves... if we think that is the case , then that means that majority can be above average ... well , to me above average means being beating the majority , which is only possible by being different from majority... Being different is a necessary condition but we have to be right in differing from the crowd... Not too many times in life we get and know an opportunity where the majority is wrong. If we bet against them at that time it is possible to make it big...
